| Description: | The International Symposium on Aquatic Nutrition has being organized since 1993. To date it is the leading discussion forum in the nutrition of aquatic organisms in Latin America. It is held every two years and aims to bring together scientific experts, students, producers, commercial and industrial representatives with the objective of sharing the most recent advances in the area of nutrition of aquatic organisms. The first two editions of the Symposium focused mainly on shrimp nutrition and since the third, fish nutrition was included and only in the last two editions mollusks and emerging species have been included. The present edition intends to broaden the regional range of the Symposium and transformed it into a truly global meeting. |
